Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services (LCVS)

The purpose of LCVS is to promote, support and develop charitable giving and effective voluntary action in Liverpool and its vicinity. They offer information, advice and training to help the development of your organisation, supporting trustees, managers, staff and volunteers. A wide range of training courses are available, and bespoke events can also be offered through their In-House training service. Other training providers are also listed on their website.

Liverpool Community Network (LCN)

Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services enables third sector organisations to be well represented through Liverpool Community Network.
Their mission is to support and promote partnership working between Liverpool's voluntary, community and faith sectors and the member organisations of Liverpool First. By working in partnership, Liverpool Community Network (LCN), is succeeding in:
- Informing communities about issues that matter to them
- Influencing public agencies in the design and delivery of better services
- Improving quality of life through representation and participation

Merseyside Expanding Horizons (MEH)

MEH is an organisation that specialises in tackling social inclusion.
We work across Merseyside and deliver a range of projects in partnership with others. These include, provision of information on social inclusion, projects which support individuals into training and employment, small grants to community and voluntary organisations working with excluded groups, customised support to those organisations, and grants for social enterprise development.

Children England

This is a 'rough guide' to young people's health & things that impact on thier health. It is aimed at adults who play an active role in the lives of 11 - 16+ year olds, and to act as a reference point and raise awareness.
Topics covered include; sexual health, alcohol use, diet, mental health.
The booklet has been developed by Cheshire & Merseyside Child Health Development programme in consultation with a range of health professionals.
