Love Haiti - A Family Friendly Fundraising Extravaganza

Love Haiti and Liverpool Every Parent Matters Network raised more than £2,000 when they joined forces to organise a fund-raising extravaganza at the Palm House in Sefton Park in Ferbruary.
Despite the snowy weather, hundreds of people came along to help raise funds for charity Plan UK and its ongoing work with children and families in Haiti.
Acts who appeared included :
- Beatlife
- Positive Impact
- Hope and Harmony Choir
- Rumjig
- Lana.
Dozens of people donated a £1 to send personal messages of love, hope and support to the people of Haiti. Guest speakers included Wirral-based Rev Marcus Torchon who is from Haiti and has family in the stricken country.
If you would like to make a donation, please visit www.plan-uk.org/haiti where you can contribute through our JustGiving page. Once a donation has been made, please be sure to enter ‘Love Haiti Palm House’ into the comments box so that. Read more about this appeal.
